Investigation: Day One

tree2 300x208 Investigation: Day OneI pull up to the home at 10AM, and from the curb I can feel the house pulsating with energy. There is a camera crew already setting up to document this event, and I am waiting for my psychics, medium, and paranormal investigator to show up.

I am a sensitive, which means I receive information beyond the normal five senses. Rather than just feeling when being touched, I sometimes feel others’ emotions.  Sometimes I see and feel spiritual energy. I just know things.

As I make my way up the walk to greet my crew, I know that the home across the street to the right has a strong connection to the home we are investigating.

From the porch, I can see children running around the front yard. And I know immediately that this home is built on Indian ground.

I am greeted by the homeowner and given a tour of the home. I sense a small boy around 5 years old in the living room. His name is Josh. Blonde hair, blue eyes, and a ton of energy.  He is running in circles, laughing. He is a happy spirit.

I am told this structure has three vortexes, a gateway for the spirits to come and go.  I feel a noticeably decreased temperature in one of the bedrooms where one vortex is said to exist, but in the two areas that are said to be the most haunted, I feel nothing.

Bill, my paranormal investigator, is the first to arrive. He is a former LAPD officer, and has held high security clearances for protecting the governor, presidents, and other high-profile dignitaries while in LA. He arrives packing heat: A revolver on his hip and a gun strapped to his ankle that he is quick to reveal. Mental note: There are two lampshades in the living room that need to be shot.

Lynn, my psychic is next to show up, along with Mark, the medium on the team. Both walk through the home and point out the negative energy – two places in particular – a long closet in the master bedroom and the garage.

I feel nothing in either of these places, but in the master bedroom, lithium batteries from the cameras, which should last 8 hours, drain immediately, as do the batteries on all of our cell phones.

My team and I go back to the bedroom where I had noticed the cooler temperature, and activity is immediate. We capture huge temperature fluctuations as Mark commands the entities in the room to make it cooler. They respond immediately to him and we have footage of the thermometer stepping down as he instructs. Mark, Lynn, and Bill all comment on an older man in a corner who does not like us being there.

The only negative thing that happens to me in the investigation is in this room.  Upon entering, I immediately feel nauseous. My feet and hands become very cold, and every ounce of energy that I have is depleted from my body. One of the crew commented that I am very pale. Not only do I need to leave the room, I have to leave the home altogether to regain my composure and catch my breath. I am normally very energetic. Has the negative spirit taken my energy to manifest later?

My team makes their way into the garage, and after a couple of energy drinks, I rejoin them in time to hear stories that the homeowner had not been in her own garage for five years. She often hears boxes and other items being thrown about – but when the door is opened – everything is in place.

Bill explains that the home, and the community, has been built on Indian land. And from historical maps,he finds that the hanging tree where the town took care of its criminals was located in this very spot where the garage is now located.

Mark identifies the spirit, Samuel, who has been prosecuted and hanged for a crime he had never committed. Part Indian, part Mexican, he was shunned by both sides of his heritage and lived quietly along the river. We are able to verify that Samuel did indeed exist. He was accused of robbing a boat of supplies, then was beat up by the crew of the boat. The supplies were never found, but Samuel was prosecuted and hanged anyway. He still wants to be heard.

The team wants to explore the closet in the master bedroom a bit more. Lynn and I hang back and let the guys take this on. It is a long, narrow space, and being claustrophobic, it is the last place I want to be.

Bill identifies the spirit by the name of Oscar, a powerful negative entity that has his mignons surrounding him. Mark also picks up on him and both start provoking him. Bill, our former police officer,  is immediately knocked to his knees. Not exactly something where a gun will help.

We all retreat to a neutral area of the home. The owner has asked us to cleanse the home of spirits so that she can feel better about selling it. Are we strong enough to clear the energy from this home?

Our Past Life Homes Team comes up with a plan – will it work?
